American actor Elizabeth Leigh Vassey, born August 9, 1972 was an American. She has played the roles as Emily Ann Sago on the television show All My Children, Captain Liberty in the 2001 TV series The Tick as well as Wendy Simms on the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Nikki Beaumont is the web show Nikki & Nora. Vassey was the teenage Emily Ann Sago in All My Children in the years 1988-1991. Vassey was a frequent actor on the show Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005, playing the character Dr. Carrie Allen. Vassey played Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's character who recurred from 2005 until 2010. Vassey was first seen in the opening credits for the show's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation series as an actor who was a regular on the show, and was elevated to a permanent character in the tenth season. Entertainment Weekly reported June 1 in 2010, that Vassey will not be returning for the show's 11th season. Vassey was featured in an episode in the season. Vassey was married to David Emmerichs who is a camera operator. In 2002, Vassey founded Neurosis to T(ee) which sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans are usually humorous and relate to female issues and anxieties.
