Heather Ann
Nauert, born on the 27th of January, 1970, is an American broadcast journalist,
who was previously an official of the government. She was the spokesperson for
the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration
(2017 to 2019). She is also a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is
an conservative think-tank. Prior to becoming a member of the Department of
State, Nauert was an anchor for Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox &
Friends. From March 2018 until October of 2018, Nauert was as the Acting Under
Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs, and Public Diplomacy
under the Trump administration. Nauert was named by Trump to the J. William
Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the White House's Commission on
White House Fellowships in the year 2019. Nauert is from Rockford, Illinois.
Peter Nauert was her father and was an insurance executive. Nauert is mother to
Justin, Jonathan, & Joseph Nauert. Nauert attended Keith Country Day
School, Rockford, Illinois, Pine Manor College, Chestnut Hill (Massachusetts)
and Arizona State University. After securing an internship in Washington, DC
hosting a country music video program Nauert continued to complete her studies
at Mount Vernon College for Women and earned her bachelor of Arts in
communication. Columbia University gave her her master's degree in journalism.
